| The Second "Cliff House" | |

There have been three Cliff Houses. The first built in 1863 was bought by Adolph Sutro, in
1881. This burned down Christmas day, 1894, so Sutro rebuilt it. This is the one you see in
the stereoview. This one burned in 1907. The third cliff house was built by Sutro's daughter,
Emma Sutro Merritt. This is one of H C Whites delux cards. In as new condition. Copyright 1905. Price 95.00
